circles.
Educated at London School of Economics and
Political Science, Derek is Managing Director of
cds since 1994. He has advised clients on
political strategy, development issues and
crisis management. He has travelled and worked
extensively in the Caribbean and South American
Regions.
Derek has attended professional workshops at
Harvard Business School and has membership in
the Market Research Society of the United
Kingdom, as well as the American Association of
Political Consultants. |
SAGITTA TEEWARRIE
Position – Company Administrator

Ms. Sagitta Teewarrie’s
experience as a company administrator is quite
enviable. Ms.Teewarrie brings to the table a
realistic approach to any situation, which has
been tempered by her personal experiences as
well as her academic pursuits. Her formal
training is in Public Relations and Advertising
from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(LCCI) and she uses this experience in
consulting with both political and corporate
clients.
Having been involved at the
coordinator/manager level of virtually all of
cds’ past endeavours, Ms. Teewarrie has evolved
into an effective and experienced organizer.
Despite her serious approach to work, Ms.
Teewarrie always brings a warm smile and a
sympathetic ear to the workplace and she always
has time to give guidance to anyone seeking
such.
In closing it must be said that
Ms.Teewarrie provides a cornerstone element of
unwavering stability upon which the future of
the cds is assured. |
CLARENCE JAGROOPSINGH
Position – Research Analyst

Clarence has
conducted opinion polls, market research
activities, researched and written reports and
policy documents during his more than 6 years at
cds. His contribution to cds' output through
this range of competencies has been nothing
short of astounding and he leads all research
related projects at cds.
During this period he has gained regional
experience in different Caribbean countries such
as Grenada, St. Vincent, St. Kitts, Antigua and
Jamaica. His academic background is in the field
of Electrical Engineering which he combines with
literary skills to give cds the advantage of
exposure to a range of competencies.

BRENT KALICHARAN
Position – Research Assistant
As the most
recent addition of the company, Mr. Brent
Kalicharan brings a new perspective and has
quickly established himself as an essential
benefit to the company. The combination of his
formal capability and grassroots consciousness
has enabled Brent to integrate himself as a
valuable asset to cds.
Having worked on a part-time basis with the
company since 2000, he has developed a sound
understanding of the company’s operations, which
lends to his diversity in terms of assisting
with a range of projects.
Currently pursuing a degree in Sociology and
International Relations as well as engaging in
studies in Health, Safety, Security and the
Environment (HSSE), Brent combines technical
knowledge with practical sensibilities to bring
success in every project he works on – an
advantage that is ultimately passed on to the
client. |
